We all know that if we can’t say something nice – we shouldn’t say anything at all, right?
Did you know that includes what you say…to yourself?
Recent studies show that negative self-talk activates the pain center in the brain – thus categorizing it as a form of self-harm!
There has been plenty of information over the years about “Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life” and “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” (Thank you, Dr. Dyer)
But I would like to take a stand today and say, “Stop harming YOURSELF with your own thoughts (and words)!”
Our minds are so powerful! However, many of us use them incorrectly. We have so much untapped potential that we hide behind a wall of fear, doubt, and even guilt and shame.
I lived in unnecessary self-sabotage for years so I get it. I understand. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can heal from the secrets we so desperately try to hide behind overcommitment and perfectionism. Transformation is possible and I can help.
